In the center the offerings with the prayer arrow are surrounded by spirit figures; the sun, the humming bird representing the rain, Takutsi Nakawe, grandmother growth with her long hair, the elder brother blue deer, Kayumarie, the sacred corn cob that sustains life, and a lizard, the guardian of the sun.
