The Octopus’s Garden is situated in the center of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle. The village is very small so everything is within walking distance from the hostel. We list a few useful indications about transportation in the area.

How to get here from Puerto Vallarta International Airport

The hostel is well connected to the airport by public transportation. All buses or combis from Puerto Vallarta marked “Punta de Mita” or La Cruz” stop at 100 meters from the hostel. The ticket costs 18 pesos (roughly 1 USD) and takes about 45 minutes. They work from 6 a.m to 10 p.m

How to get to Sayulita from the hostel

It is possible to get to Sayulita by public transportation through 2 buses. The first one will take you to the “Puerto Vallarta-Tepic” highway and the second from there to Sayulita. The trip takes about 40 minutes and buses are available between 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
A taxi station is only a few blocks from the hostel. taxis are available from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Reservations are possible at night at the number: +52-329 29 55 067
