The Octopus’s Garden is located between Puerto Vallarta with its bustling nightlife, Bucerias and the ever popular beach towns Punta Mita and Sayulita. It is situated in Banderas Bay in the small village of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle where the Marina and anchorage add to the relaxed atmosphere of a backpackers’ haven. In this beautiful place you can enjoy a taste of real Mexico as well as such tourist activities as surfing, sailing, hiking and biking.
At the Octopus’s Garden you’ll find a harmonious rendezvous for the different traditions from this region within the European feel of hospitality. The Mexican and Huichol indigenous culture can be enjoyed in the art gallery and freshly roasted coffee from the highlands of Nayarit.
The hostel offers a cozy ambience with communal areas and convenient amenities: comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, fast wi-fi, hot water all day.
Renowned as a music venue, the patio restaurant and upstairs bar have a seasonal schedule with workshops and dance classes on the sprung wood dance floor. Concerts of flamenco and other genres take place in the winter months, and regular live music events through the year.
