This picture shows the magic mirror of the gods, where with the help of the mirror and the sun the shamans can observe the illnesses. In this picture we observe the deer god who is indispensable because with his blood are marked the offerings which later will be taken to the Huichol sacred places. The people around are shamans who are learning how to cure. We can also see the arrows, feathers in the centre, we see the shaman´s wands which are used by them when they are completed and can cure with the help of the peyote god. At the top we can see the ribbons which indicate the sins of each of them, the little balls or buttons are the sins which two of them possess, the snakes are the obstacles which they will have to face during their journey to wherever they are going.
