T-Shirts

This line of T-shirts was printed at the Octopus’s Garden for over 20 years. It was started to fund a series of projects for the Huichol people, such as the spinning wheel project described in the “Our History” page. Now the workshop, in the hands of a previous associate, is based near Vallarta. The designs are reproductions of original artwork by several different artists. The separation of the colours for printing is a meticulous process which gives an unusual brilliance of tone. These 100% cotton shirts are made in Mexico and preshrunk. Each one comes with an explanation of the design in English and Spanish.
